If you go to Gamestops website right now, you'll see something wrong with the icon.It looks like a World in conflict promotion.

Actually I think that logo is pretty cool. Too bad I have no money for this game, oh well torrents FTW!
I think we should always refer it to ИгрaСтоп from now on.

i thought the site got hacked lol. it wouldn't be too bad if it did. then they'll probably hire john mclane to save the day along with the Mac guy & kevin smith.
I'd rather call him the Dodgeball guy.

Trade In Value: 463 RUB
All other games are banned in Mother Russia.

Why is it that RTS and RPG games always tease you with awesome CGI? That game looked awesome until I found out it was an RTS.

hah, i remember that. It was so funny. BTW, how do you write ИгрaСтоп in the forums? And what's with this "in russia, games trade you!"
You type: И г р a С т о п
And then read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yakov_Smirnoff#Russian_reversal

it's normal when you go to the site's main page, but after a few seconds it changes to that weird russian whatever.

the makers of that game must have paid big bucks to have just the logo changed. lol... its unfortunate because most people will end up looking over it. i usually don't even pay attention to the front page until i see a forum post about it.

Anybody notice that the OP stuck a referral/redirection link in there?

CAG does that automatically with affiliate links.

The PAX lanyards were for World in Conflict also. Their marketing campaign is pretty huge.
I think we should always refer it to ИгрaСтоп from now on.
vB has filters, right? Like, the board could be programed to change GameStop to ИгрaСтоп. That's a grand idea.

can someone seriously teach me how to type that n backwords?
I think filters are a bad thing, but we should just keep the name around as an inside joke.

In Soviet Russia, games open and play you but turn around and sell you as new.

Whoa, it's dark outside, seems like it's night or something. Even though I just answered my own "question" I'm going to post about it anyway.

OK, who over at GS's brand management (assuming they have any) thought it would be a good idea to stick a hammer and sickle beside their corporate logo??
I mean, for all the bashing we do, they just did the work for us.

It took people this long to figure out that Gamestop is communist corporation?
