Are there any videos out there I could watch to refresh my memory on the Halo saga? I've mostly played multiplayer halo, but I'll probably try the single player this time around and thought I'd benefit from the back story.

Sort of misses the point thought, as I want to see the cutscenes before Halo 3 coems out so I can jump in immediately. If I wait for the legendary disks, it would waste valuable time, especially sicne I don't plan to do much gaming till Halo comes out anyway.

I'm not looking for huge advancements in story quality, but I sincerely hope the level design is improved further. I tried playing through Halo 1 co-op with a friend the other day and it was painfully horrible. Repetitious level design involving having to go into a generic alien hideout and then fighting my way back out. Every damn hallway looked nearly identical.

Just started playing Halo: 1 on legendary so far Ive gotten to the third chapter...Where the hell is the story, the plot? All it is, is running and gunning the same characters over and over again its getting old fast.

I picked up Halo 2 the other day and im waiting till i finish Halo 1 first. I would like to try the Multiplayer but my DSL was disconnected and Its gonna take a week or two.

How's the Online play?

No. he is just a servant , a ancient droid doing what it was designed to do, activate the rings to destroy the flood, and its life source, humans, covenant, all life forms, for the flood feed on them. Guilty Spark * flying robot thingy * is just a robot doing its assigned duty, it has no morality or knows the difference between right and wrong. just what it was programmed to do.

i did it a first time, and last week, revisited to remind myself what is going on. You really need to start paying more attention. its not that crazy of a story or complicated.

You must of been in the library thats one of the more annoying areas for multi or single player in Halo 1 , Halo 2's version isnt so bad but I could of done without going through the library again man I hated that part!:bomb:

Going into the alien structure's depths was some of the most uninspired level design I've seen. Circuitous routes, hidden entrances and exits and then they kick you in the nuts and make you go back out the way you came in. Completely horrendous. Halo 2 did a better job though with the mix of urban warfare and large, open-field combats. The alien worlds they build, especially inside ships and buildings is just not good, though.
