Does anyone have any recommendations for something to carry a laptop in? I don't have anything to carry any of my school stuff so a bag might be a good idea.

how much you willing to spend?
I've had a couple of timbuk2 bags with no complaints other than how much they cost. I've been eyeing one of these.

Go to sierra trading post (http://www.sierratradingpost.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?allWords=timbuk2&searchDescriptions=True).
They have quality stuff for cheap. They have piles of tumbuk2.

Local Goodwill. I got a swiss army bag for $5

They had a bunch of Dell and HP bags, as well as others.

I'll throw in my 2 cents for ebags.com I got the briefcase style one and I take it to work everyday, it's very nice.

I like the bags on ebags, but how long does it take to ship typically? I think I'm starting class next week.

Not sure if those sites have this, but I always prefer the bookbags w/ the special slot built in for bookbags. I'm not a student, I'm a young professional, but I still carry a laptop bookbag instead of a laptop bag...
