The Konami pre-TGS press event is going on right now, so I hope I'm not too late in spreading the word, which is:

Don't watch the new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer!

This comes directly from Ryan Payton at Kojima Productions, on last week's episode of the Kojima Productions Report podcast. He actually said very explicitly that fans eagerly awaiting the game should not watch the new trailer at TGS, because it gives away "a little bit too much." He didn't go into any more detail, but that was enough for me.

I'm sure some of you will read this and watch it anyway, but if you want to go into the game knowing as little as possible, then definitely skip this one.

The spoiler is either about a certain returning character that people should already be expecting Eva Or about Olga's baby but we all knew that would be in this game.

I thought your first spoiler person was already shown, also on the MGS4 website at one point theres was a picture of an obvious older version.

zewone's misread spoiler made me mad and happy at the same time.

Not sure, but from reading the script that's the only thing I think the guy could have been talking about being too much info.

Maybe Naomi being captured by Liquid/Ocelot, but I could already guess that since she was in the helicopter that picked up Ocelot in one of the trailers

It's not so much spoilers for the storyline itself, but who's returning or appearing. We were only about halfway done with character reveals with the last trailer, so it's not surprising that they'd show off more.

Just browsing the gamefaqs MGS, and TUS MGS boards, I think I already have a pretty good idea. Since I'm already half-way spoiled, I think I'll just treat myself by watching the trailer. If I don't, I'll have to somehow avoid all MGS sites until the game is released to avoid the spoilers anyway (which I know I can't do).
