Wow.

Great news!

I was sure the older games wouldn't get a patch for rumbe.

According to the devs we've talked to: tons of control over the strength. It doesn't feel like a gyro spinning in the controller... it just vibrates. and it's very localized to either side of the controller. When explosions happen in the environment behind and to the left of you, for example, you get a little thud on the left side of the controller. It definitely feels like an improvement over DS2.Touchsense technology?

wahaha, i knew they'd update the old games to rumble. but i agree, where the heck is NG Sigma? that sucks.I think it's a matter of if Team Ninja cares to do it. I doubt they had the code initially in the game to do it, so it's very unlikely IMO (unlike multi-platform devs who may have already had the code in themselves).

Will Japanese DS3 work with US PS3s? I assume so but I should know before I ask my dad to pick one up.

Nice that Resistance and Motorstrom will be getting it.

Interesting list of games coming for the PS3 as well.

any game can receive rumble, maybe Tecmo isn't going to do anyting regarding NGS due to their reaffirmed exclusivity with MS.

the hardware should work across systems. i think it depends on the software when it comes to rumble.

Since they were coded with rumble from the beginning I would say yes.

Bummer that Pro Yakyuu Spirits and Everybody Golf 5 aren't in the list yet. Not a big deal though. I've been living without rumble on those ones and can continue to live without it.
