so i'm a big halo fan and my 360 just red lighted last night and i need to send in for repair. i don't want to wait another month to "finish the fight," so was thinking of either renting a 360 or buying a core system from target or walmart and then returning it when i get my 360 back.
anyone have any experience with returning a 360 for a cash refund after less than 30 days? know of any reasonable place where i can rent a 360 for a few weeks for less than $50?
any help wold be much apprechiated...
It's 90 days afaik.
My friend who works at Walmart bought a Premium system in January, and returned it sometime before the 90 days, in April -- because of the Elite. He was out of a system for 2 weeks, but it was worth it for him, for $80 more.

If you buy an item as expensively priced as a 360 with cash, you're not getting cash back. You'll get the money back as a check, most likely within 7-10 days after the return. Same goes for a check purchase.
Oh cash? Then I don't know. Credit most definitely tho.

yeah, i meant that i would want my credit card reimbursed as opposed to in store credit. i don't carry around cash like i'm tony soprano...
