That seems really inefficient.

Good to know, I guess, but I just use rechargeable batteries for my electronics. They even have low-discharge NiMH batteries that hold their charge much longer than standard rechargeables do.

Yep. Recharagble NiMH batteries are the way to go for sure.

Ugh. I got some Penguin United batteries rather than normal batteries because I'd heard they had a really long lifespan.

That flashlight at the end of the video is an element and it runs off aaa's I find that somewhat funny, but ii gets their point across I guess.

I've read some reviews that say that Hybrios are ever so slightly better than the Eneloops. I should be getting some soon and I might post impressions later on.
