DO NOT TRADE IT IN. Sell it here, on ebay, craigslist, or to a friend. Gamestop will screw you over on the trade in credit.

Might as well call and ask, huh?

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
your better off tradeing it for a premo 360 and w/ a game or two and buying Halo 3. It's easier that way.

It is under $200 last I heard it was around $180 or so but it's been awhile since I checked. Sell it to a CAG member or on ebay or something as you will definitely get lowballed on an item they will resell for $220 used.

Again, do not trade it to Gamestop. You can easily get a better deal else where.

What I would do is find out when a store (Target/BB) are getting a shipment (Sunday for ads that advertise it) and wait till they sell out and then wait for people to come in looking for one. Offer those people your used Wii. If its in working condition and includes everything (plus Virtual Console games if you have any) you could easily get someone to pay $220+ for it.

The same amount they will give you for a dirty and beat-up Wii.

Yep, 180 is the current going rate.

Exactly. I thought the same thing when I read the thread, Gamestop doesn't give a fuck if it's "mint and complete" but someone here or on eBay would.

If you trade your Wii in, then I'll kick you in the nuts.

Yeah it saddens me how Gamestop doesn't care about the game conditions...

Hell, I work for GameStop and I tell people not to trade their Wii's in there. Stand outside their store and sell it.

Heh, gamestop doesn't give a shit if it's mint/complete. They will give you much less than you could get elsewhere....such as right here on CAG!

Don't trade in a Wii. There are still people who can't find it, so there is more money to be made.

However if you asked this question then trading it in is probably your only option. All I can say is : don't trade it in.
