NBA Live 08 is coming out for Wii October 2nd. The game features online play for up to 8 players. I pre-ordered the game, and wanted to know who else has pre-ordered it, or is planning to get it soon after it's release?
We should set up a tournament if enough people get it It would be soo tight especially since their are no friend codes and its all EA Nation. :applause:

haven't played madden. but i heardthe game overall didn't live up to the expectations.
nba live on the other hand i've read some good things about on ign and gamespot.

The only problems I've had with Madden are involving idiots who don't know how to play the game and quit halfway through the game, and just that it takes a while to connect to an opponent. But once I'm in a game I find it to be pretty smooth.

I can't get this game to work online... I keep getting the "Your connection to your opponent has been lost. The sessoin has ended." error. I've set my Wii to the DMZ and it's still giving me the error. Anyone have any ideas? I see people online who have wins and losses so it must be working.

it works perfectly for me. i actually got into the top 3 on the leaderboards. i own at basketball games even if there a big dissapointment like this one.
no dyntasy mode or create a player... i was really saddened by that. at least there is online with leaderboards thankfully. i hope ea does contests and matches where we can win prizes.

Yeah, the wii version is pathetic. I guess that should be expected as it's their first Wii NBA Live...
