The 360 has played host to the largest number of my favorite games since the SNES

I just thought about it recently. Around the time of PSOne and PS2, I kind of fell into a gaming slump. I only made it about an hour into most of the games I owned, and I began to ditch gaming as a hobby.

But with the 360, I have been absolutely absorbed by and beaten more great games than I can remember on almost any other console: Bioshock, Oblivion, Dead Rising, Gears of War, Rainbow 6:Vegas, Guitar Hero 2, and Call of Duty 2 were all incredible.

I even put some time into more "decent" games like Marvel:Ultimate Alliance, Prey, and XBLA titles like Worms and Smash TV.

Anyway, I just wanted to express my love for the system. It's kept me warm at night....

For what it's worth, I do think the SNES was good, but the Dreamcast did more with a shorter lifespan than any other system. The 360 is poised to jump into the #3 slot at this rate.

SNES was a great system, and I don't agree with your statement about the dreamcast (despite owning one since 9/9/99 and still wear the t-shirt I got on that day to this day.) Funny, my 360 also keeps my warm at night because that piece of shit gets so fuckin hot!!!

But on terms of games, I agree. SNES is still my fav system, but there have been lots of games on this system that I absolutely loved. Even XBLA games!

the 360 is awesome. alot of great games. the SNES was hayday in my opinion, like creme de la creme. the DC, i was impressed that almost every title i bought, was worth the cash, mostly all sega games, but damn, it started my addition to 2K,,, football. Madden is alright, but imagine a 2K8!
