I have to say I am superbly happy that the game is getting a sequel. I even got a review copy before the original's release and pointed out that the game absolutely was in need of a sequel due to chances of refining what it already had done (Review Here (http://www.clubskill.com/article/3536)). The first one was stiff and lacking in random spots, but it all worked amazingly unique. I strongly recommend everyone to at least give this title a chance.

also note this was originally a PS2 title and was canceled then moved to the PS3. good move IMHO. we need more action-rhythm-simcity-rpgs. (original PS2 version video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLngDsbm4Ps))

Looks pretty nice. I got to play the demo at last years TGS and it really did play like more of the same (not a bad thing though). It looks like it's going to have 'cleaned up' PS2 graphics, but with the cel-shading that should be fine. Hopefully, they can kill the load times and add more content to the vehicles. Also it'd be nice for them to flesh out the music system a little more, like rewards for mastering certain instruments and such (and hopefully easier accordion controls).

from the looks of it, it seems the title may have bot a PS3 and PS2 release... odd... I did like the aspect of choosing who to date in the game...

How are the controls? I have a copy of the original game here, but I gave up on it due to the Trotmobile controls. Are they still... well. Annoying and purposefully counterintuitive?
