Iv always wanted this game, both for collectors value and to play. I was wondering if anyone here has played it? If so did you think it was amazing? Amazing enough to cough up the $100-$150 for the game?
Also if anyone has any other Sega Saturn games they reccomend would love hearing them. All I have right now is Shining the Holy Ark and Saturn Bomberman.

I thought it was a very very good rpg. However, worth $100+? Not really. Graphics are very dated, and the game game as a whole is only about 8 hours long. (The only reason it is 4 disks is because there are lots of fmv). You could probably drop the big $$ on it, beat it, and resell it for about the same price or more if you watch the market. It is worth a play through or two, as it is a nice video game experience.

I disagree. I think it is well worth the $150 to $200 it pulls. It is a fantastic RPG that is short (around 14 hours or so), but one of the best while playing it.
Very unique RPG. Really nothing like it to compare it to. Great FMV's to tell the story as well. Great story and great everything. Takes about half an hour or an hour to really get into it, but once you get into it, you are caught.
I am not a huge fan of RPG's, but I loved Panzer Dragoon Saga and everything about it.

I really wouldn't value ANY game over $100... it is only a game afterall :-)

I seen the game at my local pawn shop for 9.99. I never played it, but with the past panzer games, the music should be amazing.

Panzer Dragoon Saga is slightly overrated due to its rarity IMHO. I have a copy I bought for $50 on launch day, and have kept it around, mainly because I have really fond memories of the other two and just wanted the set. Worth $50? Definitely. Worth the going rate ($120-170 is closer as far as I can tell)? I probably wouldn't pay it, although I paid roughly the same amount for Radiant Silvergun and don't regret that one bit. One thing I will say...there really aren't any other games quite like it, and uniqueness goes a long way with me.
Yea the important thing is that there ares no other game like it. It is worth playing if you are a RPG fan. The graphics are dated but looks better than most games from the same era.

I have it, found it very cheap ($2), havent had a chance to play it, due to a lack of a Saturn. Guess I could always emulate.

I would love to find a good deal on this since I'm a RPG fan. Sadly, it is very difficult to find any sega stuff in my area, let alone Saturn stuff. The only decent games I have for the saturn are Panzer Dragoon and Shining the Holy Ark.

Yeah and I bought a stamp with an upside down plane on it for a quarter and a Mickey Mantle rookie for 50 cents.

Which I appreciate the sarcasm and all, and could careless for a stamp with a plane on it (Mantle Id take, but Im a Mets fan), finding such gems at a garage sale isn't all that astonishing. Mosey over to the Garage Sale finds in the Deal section if you dont believe me. Also,

Still got my original copy, that I bought on the week it was released in the USA....For me that game is so unique, that u have to play it, to get really the rare and unique experience that TEAM ANDROMEDA brought to the saturn, it was short, but the game was and is still one of the best if not the best sega saturn game released!

how rare can this game be if it seems that everyone's had it or had a go at it? I have it too. I played it but my internal saturn battery died and killed my game save and I never go to finish disc 2. I want to sell it but I keep it cause I want to finish the game but am too lazy to buy the cr2032 battery for it.

I've never played or owned the game so it has to be sort of rare.

Game is hard to find, but not as hard to find as people think. Everyone just seems to hold onto their copy, but I've seen more PDS (i have a copy) than some PSOne games. It might be a region issue as some regions may have got more PDS than others.
