i just bought this LCD monitor will i need to buy something else so i can hook up ps3

and i am wonderingi if i have to buy any switchs or something else so i can hook up my ps3 to and be able to watch tv on it because im not sure can anyone help me out please.

If all it has is the standard dvi and vga connection, what you need is to buy a hdmi to dvi cable and if you want a dvi switch if you plan on plugging more than just the PS3 into it. Also for sound unless you need to use the cables it comes with and get an adaptor to hook it to standard speakers. You could buy all this at monoprice.com, which is where I did. Hope that helps, but I'm too lazy to actually give you all the links, it was pretty easy to figure out.

To answer your question, you'd need a HDMI-to-DVI cable adapter and a HDMI cable to get the video from your PS3 to this Westinghouse monitor.

Adapter you'd need would be something like this:

HDMI female on one side, DVI male on the other. Audio would be another issue, as you'd need to use optical out to get the audio from the PS3 to this TV.
