if u could only get 5 wii games for the rest of the year what would they be? im sure everyone is gonna say that two of them, will be super mario galaxy and super smash brawl. so what other ones do u think will be the best and worth not just a purchase but a first day purchase?

I won't find time and I won't buy them all, but I want all of them. All look extremely good to me.

Sucks because I just got a Wii again and I haven't played Super Paper Mario or Metroid Prime 3. I am playing Prince of Persia right now and I want to play Alien Syndrome but judging by the reviews I will wait for a further price drop. There are a bunch like that though that I want to play.

MLB Power Pros comes out Oct. 3rd and is in stores Oct 4th. It's a japanese game or something. Looks like it will be real good if you like baseball games. I had never heard of it until someone put up another post about it.

There's honestly not five Wii games that I feel are worth paying for, and more importantly there are not five Wii games that are even worth my time. The only game coming out on the Wii that I'm interested in is Mario Galaxy.

Probably in the same boat as me. Loves the big Nintendo games like Mario, Metroid and Zelda, and willing to keep the Wii around just to play them.

Wish I could ween myself off their franchises, as there hasn't been much I've enjoyed on the N64, GC or Wii (so far) besides them.

But what can I say, they make the best games in the business, and if not for their grade A games I probably would have dropped gaming all together years ago.

MP3 is fantastic, but I can see the other 2.

RE4 is great, but he may have already played the GC or PS2 version and have no desire to replay.

SPM was just ok IMO, I'd give it a 7.5. And the paper mario series has always been a bit of a love it hate it affair.

I've considered it many times... I think the real reason I've haven't sold it is because I have every single console Zelda game and they can all be played on the system. All the actual Wii, Wii games are garbage to me. I use it 99.9% to play GCN, N64, SNES, and NES games. That, and I don't have/don't want a PayPal account, and I'm definitely not trading it in to EBGames/Gamestop to get raped. If Mario Galaxy fails to impress me I'll definitely get rid of it.

Just throw it on Craig's list and sell it locally. They go on there for about the same as eBay and then you can just get straight cash from the seller.

I'm going that route if Mario Galaxy doesn't impress me, and may go that route in early 2008 after that and Smash Bros even if both are great.

Super Smash Bros Brawl falls in the same boat. I'll be up all night after midnight playing online with y'all.

I'm also very excited about the Wii Zapper and Link's Crossbow Training. I know, I know, it doesn't really look like a title that's meant to impress or make people excited, but it looks like fun - the Zapper shell seems like it'll add a little bit to the experience.

In that same vein, my fourth pick is either RE: UC or Ghost Squad. I love on-rails shooters, bottom line...so whichever turns out to be the better of the two, I'd take.

Finally, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Seems kinda strange to take this over, say, Battalion Wars 2, but it looks like it'll be fun. As long as the events are not crippled control-wise, I figure it'll be the strongest minigame collection on the console this side of Wii Sports.

Metroid Prime 3 looks decent enough that I'd give it a try.
I love me some Super Swing Golf, so depending on what #2 adds I'd probably give that a shot.
Super Paper Mario I'm just giving the benefit of the doubt to since I enjoyed the other paper mario games, though I hear this one isn't like the RPG style of the others.
Super Mario Galaxy is a 3D Mario platformer, so again, benefit of the doubt that it'll be good. I really liked Super Mario Sunshine, so we'll see if its any better.

But yea, nothing that I can't wait on save Super Smash.
