It seems that everyone disses these (including Cheapy on this week's CAGcast) until they actually have them in their hands, and then they realize how great they feel (Wombat on this week's CAGcast).
For what it's worth, I thought they looked fairly goofy when they were first announced, and my opinion hasn't changed since receiving them. I don't use them... personally, anyway. 3 of my remotes have those + up-to-date wrist-straps, the 4th (my personal one) is free like a bird.
Really, they can add anything they want on it, but it won't feel better than pure, untouched, uninhibited remote action.
