Anyone have a list of the RPGs coming out in 2008? I'm just curious...it seems like Square, Atlus, and NIS are all ready to go PS3 so it doesn't seem like they're be much out next year.

We'll probably just see localized releases of games already out in Japan at this point. I cant imagine there are many rpgs still in development for the ps2.
Ar Tonelico 2, and some stuff like that perhaps, but nothing 'big' from Squeenix or NIS.

Doesn't Japan have HDTVs yet? Tired of waiting :(DS is the next PS2 in Japan, so... yeah. Japanese HDTV adoption is quite a bit higher than the US, I believe, they just care even less.
But on topic, I don't think you'll see any new announcements of original projects for the PS2 next year. Maybe remakes, localizations, can't imagine much else.

At this point NISA and Atlus got nothing planned for 2008. If NISA and Atlus want they got more than a few Japanese games that they can bring over. The fourth Atelier game, Ar Tonelico 2, Growlanser 6 and Persona 3 FES are all possible. Heck Namco can even release the Tales of Destiny remake.

I consider ArT2 to be "big" from NISA. :D But still, I hope to god we get it! ^_^

that one probably have no chance since nintendo funded the translation. The odds with Destiny is a bit better as Namco could be waiting till the director's cut version is out in Japan.

so far tales of destiny directors cut. i think the new star ocean will be on ps3 as well.
