It's the original game plus some bonus content, much like Morrowind GOTY Edition.

Yay! i got this game at CC for $5 plus taxes. I wonder when i have times to play it :(

It's the original game, including the content that Lionhead obviously cut at the last moment in order to meet publisher shipping deadlines.
Fable = Fable 0.8
Fable; The Lost Chapters = Fable 1.0
Don't believe me? Play through the original and you'll find that the last "hub" area of the game is really not a hub to anything..... it's just where the game gets cut off in order to end it. This was the final insult to the game..... after it was being billed as being a free-roaming "life sim", and the end product is divided along all these little paths.... like little hedgerows and knee-high fences that you're not allowed to jump over.
Ack, I know I sound bitter. I was just hyped up to play Molyneux's project-reality game. It's actually an enjoyable enough game. Get The Lost Chapters version, you'll get a more complete experience. And here's another hint: "Arseface" as a character name will bring you no end of merriment from the local townsfolk.
