View Full Version : Has anyone scanned Triple Play 2002 Xbox at BB recently?

I instantly had my $0.99 order cancelled online a week or so ago (that's 3 for 3...thanks Best Buy :D ). Today while browsing the racks I noticed 9 copies of Triple Play 2002. I was too lazy to have them price check the game for me (was marked $9.99), but was wondering if anyone here has checked the scanned price of Triple Play 2002 at their local Best Buy since the $0.99 online price?
Another game that seems to drive me nuts everytime I walk into BB is Tony Hawk PS 2x. Almost 4 newer versions of the Tony Hawk series have come out and this game is still priced at $9.99. I think if they priced it at $4.99 it probably still wouldn't sell.

You should have had it scanned.
That's not laziness, it's crazy. How can you be that lazy? If I had a chance to get a game for $0.99, I would atleast check.

Lazy...now I'm crazy too. I'll go back tomorrow and check. No one's going to buy the stupid game just relax (it's marked $9.99). If it is 99 cents, I'm buying as many as they let me.....because I'm crazy.

I remember a while ago that PC Gamer's Pack was a penny on BB's website, I picked up a copy of it in-store for the same price. I'm thinking there's a chance TP 2002 could possibly be that cheap in-store.

you should checked! i ordered 3 online (1 in my first order, 2 in my second..) the first order shipped and i got the game, but the second one was canceled..

lol...i saw it too...but for some reason i thought it was 2001 which was the online price of .99...oh well...ill check tomorrow

BREAKING NEWS...they both (TP 2002 & Tony Hawk PS 2x) rang up at....$9.99 :lol: . Stupid Best Buy :evil: . I might go in there next week with my cancelled online order and see if they'll pricematch that, but for now it looks like Triple Play 2002 is $9.99 in BB's system.

Kind of surprisng that the in store price is more but I guess it happens on some items. I remember last year BestBuy.com had some Disney Goofy Cordless phone for $7.99 (Disneystore.com was selling it for $99.99 at the time) and I ordered it online for instore pickup. After seeing how nice it was, I decided to get 2 more for gifts but the instore price was $12.99 and the store refused to honor the online price. What I did was go to a computer hooked up to Bestbuy.com and placed the order on the computer for instore pickup at the $7.99 price, went to the mall across the street and came back a half hour later and picked up the 2 phones for $7.99 from the online order.
