Mods shouldn't be sitting there editing the titles. I think pretty much everyone can agree with that. No, shut up. You wouldn't want it happening to your threads either.
If dallow wants the responsibility, let'em have it.
I could do it, but my job is about to end, and that would have been the only way I'd have been regimented enough to do it daily.

Mods were changing the title, so DMK through a whine fit and asked for it to be locked and someone else to maintain a new one. Thread's still there, you can go read through the last couple pages for yourself.

I'm not going to blame anybody one way or the other, but before locking the previous thread, a mod should have requested that somebody new take the helm.
Mysteriously locking the most popular thread in this forum, and not asking anybody to continue it, is very poor form. It would have given that particular mod (whoever it was) a chance to be helpful, to provide order, and to prove their overall worth. Instead, it just comes off as petty.
We could have avoided this makeshift thread all together (although it was a good move given the circumstances, as Ikohn is completely right in saying that we need a smash thread, especially now).

Bite my tongue! Looks like LinkinPrime actually stepped up and did exactly this while I was posting. Good show.

I thought DMK was doing fine. I think it's poor form to be editing people's threads, especially without suggesting it in the thread first.
Eh... whatever. With all the news popping up, it's probably time for a general discussion thread anyway.
