View Full Version : Good, cheap PS2 dance mats?
Are there any alternatives to Konami's official dance mats that come in the game bundles? I checked Gamestop.com and only a 360 one from Madcatz showed up.
Also, when I play DDR Extreme 2, for some reason it doesn't register when I press the left arrow. Is it wearing out? How long does it usually take to wear out?

Cheap DDR mats are in abundance on eBay. I can't remember who I got my padded ones from, but they aren't bad. Oh, and the left arrow on the mat I've been using lately has definately been wearing out... it's also the one I step/rest on the most.
One note about eBay: some auction listings for DDR mats have "Ignition" in the title. These usually aren't real Ignition mats (http://www.redoctane.com/ignitionpadv3.html), which tend to be pricier than your average eBay fare.

Yeah, it's wearing out. What level do you play on? Maybe about half a year before you start reliably getting misses.
