Darn I thought $0.99.
Does this apply to the new PSP Slim with Battlefront? That would be pretty awesome.

Since GS was not in Canada, the merge with EB had no effect what so ever on us Canadians. All the same people are still around!!

hey there gamer602
May i ask which EB did you visit?
I currently work @ oakridge's EB and it states directly on the promotional material that it is Trade 4 for a PSP Core (old fat one) for $99,
You may have had either a really really nice sales associate or a one whom diddnt read the materials or the other case the promo @ my store has ended and thats the new one.
The only offer i know of for the PSP slim
is "Trade old fatty psp in for -100$ of new PSP slim (core or bundle) no matter" ,
(limit of 1 psp hardware for discount , all other trade ins (hardware, software) taken in @ normal value)
Also as an asside since the DS has now dropped to $110 the trade 6 to get it isnt as great. the 360 Bundle is currently the best offer for trade ins (trade 10 games +8$ min)
also for those that diddnt know, you dont exactly need 10 games, we manually overide your +$8 trade ins to $25 so thats how you get it for $150 (400-250 = 150).
Its just that we cap the $8-$24 bump up to 10 games only.
so if you have games worth 25+ or more, just ask if you can trade those in @ regular value.
and yes the new chipset/hdmi have begun arriving in Canada , we recvieved 2 yestrday (Oct 15th) and sold out of them within the day.
EB is a strange place to work, ur never know what is right, only what not wrong.

Unless of course you're going after a new DS and the credit automagically gets updated on their system to $100.

Maybe you guys can post the deals from now on.
Maybe the list for upcoming game of the days would be great!
The store I visited was in Rideau Centre, Ottawa.

well i would.. but then there would be more hording
the day the announcment of Marvel UA, being 9.99, someone came in and bought all 12 copies the store had in stock @ 9:42 in the morning, 12 mins after we opened the door
Also, there just isnt enough time time to look through all the material that marketing and head office sends in. u have no idea how long and tedious to gut and sort every game thats traded in.
and amendment to what i said about the trade 4 games for psp
Spoke with my normally scary mean manager today and
we'l alsol do the deal trade 4 games for a psp -100. so disregard my earlier post.
Essientially u can get a slim PSP core for free if you trade in old fatty and 4 games.(199-4*25-100)

People on CAG are nice.
This was ported to RFD and that person who bought 12 copies is probably from RFD.
Come on CAGS, tel him that we're NICE AND DIFFERENT from people on RFD!
We don't hoard things.
I NEVER post deals on RFD now..

CAG's are generally too cheap to hoard, but in general we're all here to help each other get good deals on games, i still can't believe someone bought out all the copies of UMA 12 mins after opening though >< its similar to the time i went to bestbuy to buy a router that was priced down to $23 from $100 and when i walked in the store clerk told me that a customer came in and bought ALL 67 they had in stock, he even helped the guy bring them out to his car, needless to say i was annoyed

Judging from RFD, I think "a few" is an understatement ;P
While hardly anyone that contributes here would likely hoard, you can't forget the lurkers.

Hoarders are stupid. Tying up cash to make a few bucks. And there is a risk of the value dropping too.

They don't care about that as long as they get their value before it drops
I lurk RFD and I notice the attitude of the users (at least those that post) is quite different than here. There are some decent and thankful people there, but the locusts seem to heavily outweigh them.

greed is a part of human nature, thankfully its not so dominant in here
