Halo = 2D Side Scroller???

This was actually from the bungie.net forums, so don't give me the credit. Unfortunately, I can't find the original thread at their site, but I'm just letting you know I didn't find this on my own, so give credit to the OP at the bungie forums.

Go down to where it says "view all screen shots" A new window will pop-up, hit the previous/back button a couple of times and you'll see what looks like a 2D side scroller version of Halo. Anyone know what this is all about? I'm thinking its just an extra bonus included on the Collector's Edition of Halo 2?

Are you talking about the Gameboy Halo rumor? Because Bungie itself crushed that one.

They have a demo on that link O.D.D. posted. I'm going to try it out. No choice but to download it off of FilePlanet though.

I DL'ed the demo and I just found out how truly cappy my monitor is. It will not show it. POS.

*EDIT* Changed out my crappy monitor for another crappy monitor and I can now play it. Seems decent enough... worth the DL.
