I know this question has been asked about games, but does anyone know if Wal-Mart will give me cash for a new sealed DS, without a receipt? It is worth $140 + tax at wal-mart, and only worth $100 on eBay.If you know it's been asked about games around here, you'd know it's not a topic that can be discussed around here. Selling homebrew DS carts I'm pretty sure is a no-no as well. The DS wifi adapter you can probably make a post in the trading forum to get more attention.

This is the thread I was thinking of. No one mentioned it here: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155130&highlight=wal-mart

The PSP forums are full of it. I had assume piracy talk was illegal, but didn't know homebrew stuff was. Personally, I don't pirate games, but I have no problem with homebrew. Anyway, I'll remove it from post to avoid offending other people who frown on indie deveopment.

Only if the product was not purchased at Wal-Mart. Happens all the time with gifts, where people are embarrassed to ask the giver for the reciept. Probably the reason Wal-Mart has the policy.
