What Rating?

Hey guys, I have kind of a dilemma here. I bought this game off of someone on this website. He got the money($10) on 10-6-07. And I got the game yesterday, 10-18-07. That's a 12 day difference, even though he said he's ship them on monday, which would have been 10-8-07.

So that would have made it a 10 day shipment, right? But when I looked on the stamp thing, it said that it was sent on 10-16-07. That's a 2 day delivery. This made me kind of mad because he kept on to it for so long, and I had to wait for it for a good 8 extra days, and I know that he didn't keep it to beat the game, since I saw it on his list for well over a week before I offered to buy it(gotta buy those megaman games)


Also, he hasn't rated me back, and he has over 30 ratings on him. So I don't want to get a bad rating if I give him a bad rating. What should I do? Also, what rating should I give him. I'm new to CAG, and I don't want to make an enemy, even though I'm mostly here for buying, and soon, for selling.If you have read up to this point, please put a '*' at the begining of your post.

1) You're over-reacting.
2) At worst you should only be giving them a neutral, since negatives are reserved for when the deal doesn't go through (ie- you paid and no game was sent).
3) Wrong forum... this probably should've gone in the trading forum.

Lol, I was actualling thinking of good or neutral. Too bad the ratings aren't out of 5 stars xD I needed site assistance, so sorry if it's in the wrong forums.

* One week isn't a long time. If it's more than two weeks, then you have a real complaint. Things come up. Sometimes getting a package out isn't the number one priority.

Did he tell you it would ship same day he received payment? if not, you have zero ground for a negative and very shaky for a neuteral.

If I was in this trade, I would leave a positive cause I got what I paid for in a timely manner. I suggest you do that same.

He said he would ship out on Monday,he shipped on monday, but the monday 2 weeks afterwards. I'll give him a positive but put that in as well

* Just remember this isn't Ebay. This is like a backwater town where time goes much slower for some. At least you got your game, some guys wait forever and then get squat for their efforts.

If he said that he would ship the next Monday (and you have a PM from him stating this) then that's when he should have shipped. If, as you say, he didn't shp until 8 days later then he warrants a neutral. He did send the game but he didn't keep up his end of the agreement by sending in a timely manner. Unless it's agreed upon beforehand, 8 days is entirely too long.

I think it's ridiculous to leave a negative just because he sent it out a bit late, did you ever ask him why it was sent out later? Maybe something came up, none of us do this for a living and have other stuff to do in our time.

I'd leave a positive and get over it already.
