Hi, I'm looking to add any CAG members to my ebay list (perferrably Canadian, I'd rather buy locally country-wise than pay the customs fees from the US).
Also second part, does any know if Canada's gotten some Falcon Xbox 360 models in? I've been looking everywhere and they're all Zephyrs.

just a heads up on the ebay thing, you do realize (atleast when it comes to gaming stuff) there are no duty fees. You only pay sales tax (provincial and federal) +$5 so on bigger stuff it's usually beneficial to buy from the states. There arent really any ridiculous charges. It's just sales tax.

Well that's if you get a smart normal seller that ships USPS. I just had a dumbass ship me stuff with UPS (and I clearly told him to ship it USPS). When the $20 package arrived I had a $41.47 brokerage/tax charge...
It's always best to stay within Canada where possible.

Although if you get a dumbass seller you can be just as hooped with the tax thing. I bought a game off an American CAG. I paid $6 for the game. He filled out the customs form with a value of $50. So I paid 13% of $50USD + $5 which worked out to $7.92CAD worth of tax + brokerage on a $6. Pisses me the fuck off. Hooray for a $14 copy of zoo keeper

Have you checked any of the Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance holiday bundles. I'm hoping those are falcons. The stores may not have any on the shelves but in the back. They want to clear out the regular bundles before putting the new ones out.

talk about getting charged an arm and a leg, sorry that you had a "misguided" seller magiic
back on topic, when you're dealing with sellers from the US you can request that they use this shipping method, that way shipping will be fairly cheap and you'll most likely avoid some if not ALL the customs/duty fees

I've also included this link that will explain how the system works.

I've had that happen several times :bomb: At least for that you can get it corrected fairly. If you look on the back of the tax form there's details on getting a refund. If you tell them the problem and show them the eBay listing you will get a refund for the correct tax price, but you're still out the COD fee.
