-Each city will have its own airport including a working Dodo

-You will be able to pickup hitchhikers

-Operateable tow trucks are accessible.

-A 360 camera is in use. Use the right analog stick to use it.

-A crapload of outfits are avalible. Topping Vice City's number of clothes.

"A lot of what was mentioned has been seen and written before, however some things were discussed in a lot more detail, and some unknown things were released to the readers. One of the first main things we'll pick out from the article is the stats. We know previous GTA games have had statistics tracking, however nothing on the scale of San Andreas. There's going to be a lot of stats which will be associated with everything that you do in the game. Running, Swimming, Shooting, Driving Cars, Driving Motorcycles, Driving Bikes, Swimming, Sprinting, Strength, literally everything will be recorded for your stats screen. The more time you spend doing certain things, the better you will become. While we already heard the basics of this from other magazines, there's a little more detail here. If you spend a lot of time driving a motorbike, your stats will increase, but that's not all. What will actually happen is that the more you drive on the motorbike, the better you will be able to drive it. Things like it's handling when turning corners, braking and even how easily you fall off will all be built up as you work on the statistics. We also pick out from the article that statistics are not necessary, but useful. While a few missions will require you to be in shape, Rockstar assures us that you do not need to spend hours levelling up before attempting a mission, and that you will gradually build up your stats as you play through the game, however hardcore players may wish to perfect their stats to make the game a lot more fun and interesting.

Games ™ also covered part of the eating section of the game. As we already know, each different type of food, and each size of food will cost a differing amount of money, however what we know now is that each food will have it's own stamina rating to a degree. Some will be healthier some will be fatter, and depending which you eat, CJ's physical shape and fitness will change, however you can balance out what you eat with exercise. If you eat too much junk food or way too much normal food you'll become fat and pedestrians will call you a "Fat Bastard". If that wasn't hurtful enough, your gang will also tell you "Dude, you need to lose some weight".

Every pedestrian and non-player character has a brain. We've heard that all before, however not in as much detail. They don't just have a brain as in walking around on screen and avoiding cars like in Vice City, but they actually live in the game world. If you wish to be a stalker, you can follow a pedestrian. In the morning he'll get up, go out of his house, and will then have a destination to go to. The pedestrian will go to work, go to the store, meet up with a girl et cetera. This blows Vice Cities level of interactivity with pedestrians out of the water, but there's more! You might even see a couple walking down the street holding hands and if you push between them, they'll react and grab each other again. Along with the pedestrians actions, there is also a huge amount of new dialogue. Each type of pedestrian will now have an hour of dialogue compared with what we called a large 10 minutes which they were given in Vice City.

The magazine also discusses some smaller features which are equally, if not more important that most of the stuff mentioned before. Carjacking. How can you have a game about stealing cars without carjacking playing a huge part? You cant, which is exactly why Rockstar Games have changed the animations when performing a jacking. You'll pull open the door, beat the driver and then throw them out onto the road. We've also heard that you'll be able to bust some big moves on the bike which could add even more replay value to the game as people will be able to stunt off all sorts of objects and pull some sweet moves. The final main point which the magazine discusses is that the dodo from GTA3 will make a return, however this time it's not going to have clipped wings. There'll be a ‘Full Wing Dodo' in San Andreas which will be driveable or rather flyable and also very useful for crossing the huge state of San Andreas."

yawn.. most of this crap is people just saying things and someone deeming it official.

If you wish to be a stalker, you can follow a pedestrian. In the morning he'll get up, go out of his house, and will then have a destination to go to. The pedestrian will go to work, go to the store, meet up with a girl et cetera. You might even see a couple walking down the street holding hands and if you push between them, they'll react and grab each other again.

I'm willing to bet 90% of this is crap and scripted, i.e. he'll meet the girl every day, and if there are people holding hands, they'll hold hands every time you see them, not independantly grab them.. and they'd only be scripted at certain parts of the city.

Don't get your hopes too high on this game.. I'm not expecting much, so if it's great, that's wonderful, and I wouldn't of wasted time anticipating it.. and if it sucks like Vice City does after a few weeks, then I can say "I told you so!".. I mean, with Vice City, people were selling it for 20 or 25 a few weeks after release.. of course, you're all saying "It'll NEVER get boring!!!".. but then again, you also said the same thing with Vice City.

If you were smart enough you would have gone to the original site and realized that the paragraph is a summary of a magazine article. No one is making stuff up.

That's it! This game is about to join the very slim list of games I've pre-ordered. Every bit of news just keeps making it look better and better.

I've yet to get board with VC and I've had it since launch.

 Fat bastard? They should have made it so when you pick up a hooker she will say something insulting after she is done and paid.

If they were REALLY thinking they would customize some missions where you need to be fat, and some where you need to be thin/in shape. That would kick ass.

that sounds good so they are not all saying the same things, but come on, that isnt that great. Well i will have to wait and see how well this is implemented.

..i'm totally gonna be stalking people...

but i wonder... since they wake up in their house and leave, can you see them opening the doors and leaving? can you go in their houses? if you kill them, do they respawn?

i've noticed that when i buy GTA, when i first play it, i ride around checking out the cars/weapons, causing trouble, and exploring for hours before i actually try to do missions and shit.

But seriously, why can't we just make one huge thread to post San Andreas crap in instead of clogging the whole board with different threads?

The game woulda been better if it had included the Neverland Ranch as one of the playable locations, and you could accept missions from the king of molestation himself.

Yeah, I'm gonna be following people around too to see what it is like.

Since we will be able to rob houses now maybe most houses can be entered now which will allow us to see people coming out and going to work and stuff.

That would be hilarious - in a sick way.

San Andeas is going to be one of those games thats a no-brainer to purchase if you have a PS2....The amount of work and thought that Rockstar is putting into this game is incredible. I will definitely be getting this game first day it is launched. I still am not bored of Vice City and San Andreas takes place in an entire state. I think ill be playing this one till PS3 comes out.

Nothing is interesting to me about it. I get to be in a gang, and play dress up. Whoopee. It's like The Sims, only more violent. There are no reasons why I would buy this game, there is absolutely nothing about it that I am interested in. I must be too old.

For a lot of people who aren't die hard fans of the series, each game can easily be looked at as an expansion to GTA 3. I enjoyed both games so far, but most of the improvements from game to game don't really change the gameplay much. If you got your fill in GTA 3, no real need to pick up two very similar games.

Of course no cheats - makes it much more fun. If you use cheat codes it becomes too easy, and you might as well just read a walkthrough instead of play it.

I also have no real interest in this game for some reason. I got GTA 3 near launch, but still haven't bought VC or even played it once...guess they all seem the same to me.
