Not really news worthy, but this list of "award winners (http://palgn.com.au/article.php?id=9258&sid=9126c8492f7daef81308483cc61e3f5e&title=BAFTA+Award+winners+announced)" gave me a chuckle:
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts hosted it's annual video game awards ceremony last night in London's Battersea Park. While you and I were counting z's, attendees were being entertained by the comedy of Vic Reeves and the music of Athlete and Remy Nicole. Nintendo arguably had the best show of all, with Wii Sports picking up a mighty six out of thirteen awards. It was not awarded Game of the Year, however, with that honour going to the much loved BioShock. Crackdown, Okami and God of War II each picked up two awards. The list of nominees also contains some rather baffling inclusions and exclusions - including games that aren't exactly out yet.
