I've got Burnout Revenge, PGR3, PGR4, Forza 2. I'm looking for an arcade racing game with long tracks, not so many closed courses, and tracks where you can hit really fast speeds, and I don't want another Burnout. I'm looking at 360 and would like to know which Need for Speed game, since after the Underground games, would fit my want best? How is Most Wanted and Carbon on 360?

i know you said you wanted need for speed games but id take a look into the midnight club series as well. one of the best racing series ive played in years since the early need for speeds on the ps1.

Most Wanted, without a shadow of a doubt.

I found most wanted seriously boring. the tracks were all just fast, 10 lanes wide and turns were very gradual. the concept of the game is cool, but they took out my favorite race types from the underground series (drifting and the short circuit) and replaced them with other "go fast along these wide, long, open roads and use your brakes once every 2 minutes" race types. I guess it's personal preference though, you might like that kind of stuff.

Might want to wait a little Pro Street comes out soon. There's a Demo on xbl too.

The Demo's for all three Most Wanted, Carbon, & Prostreet are on the marketplace, download them and see for yourself.

I recommend Most Wanted though, the other two are pretty bad.

Agreed.

I actually had MORE fun playing Most Wanted then NSF:U1, U2, and Carbon. I gave them chances, but at the end of the day, Most Wanted was more repayable then the others.

I can't my 360 is in Texas right now being repaired. I own Midnight Club 2 but never finished the whole campaign. Is Midnight Club 3 a lot lot better than Midnight Club 2? Is it BC on 360? For some reason I'm yearning for an arcade racer with fictional long courses with long straights where I can max out the car's speed. After I watched Prostreet videos I guess it reminded me of the old school NFS games. I don't want to pay $60 for it though so I'm looking for older titles.

No, neither Midnight Club 2 or 3 are BC.

Im playing Carbon right now, and its garbage. The drifting is HORRIBLE... its even more corny... and the chick isnt NEARLY as hot as Josie Maran from MW. Most Wanted was pretty fun... and not too hard. Carbon takes focus off of cop chases and other free roaming things to give you much less to do then race the stupid gay races then get hit with a wall when you enter the final 'area.' Achievements in Carbon suck... and really hard to come by... with MW... beat the game, get 1k Achievement points. pwn.
