I saw it randomly in a store yesterday (in Japan) and saw that it's been released in the Sega Ages series. Is this game as good as I remember it? I used to love it in the arcade but have no idea if it'll still be as fun now, especially since the Gundam arcade game is pretty much the same idea...

haha sorry! is the sega ages series in america, too? i thought it was, but maybe that's just the remakes. anyway, i almost bought it (it's about $25), but i already have the gundam game and don't want to risk the chance that this will feel like a "step down" if you know what I mean.

Nope, we got a couple remakes bundled onto one disc called Sega Classics Collection. But Sega is too stubborn to release any of the Sega Ages games here for some reason while they like to release a shitty Sonic game every chance they get.

Yeah and it's the most playable one if you using a standard controller(thanks to the PS2's 2 analog sticks). I've got the Dreamcast one & tried the Saturn one and they're barely playable with the standard controllers.

Lucky me, I found and bought a new copy at GameCrazy for $9.99 in Apr'06. Try using their game search service if necessary.

Still waiting on CyberSled though....
