Looking to get a new rewards card and have kind of weighed over my options but not decided on a card. I already have a card that I use for emergencies with a really low rate. Now im looking for a card to do all my spending on then pay off at the end of the month. Figured instead of paying cash all the time I should start paying with credit then paying it off to build credit and earn some rewards. So what cards do you guys use to earn some great rewards?

I buy alot of stuff at Best Buy so I have the Best Buy Master Card. You also get $30 if you sign-up.

The amazon.com Visa is fantastic. Well, if you shop at amazon.
This (http://www.creditcards.com/) site is helpful.
For me I like to get a check as the reward and not fool with gift cards or whatever to a specific store.
It's pretty easy to find a card that will give you 1% cash back on every purchase. I have a chase card that gives me 5% on gas/groceries/drug stores and 1% on everything else. I'm not sure if they still offer it for new customers.
I also have a Freedom card through chase that gives me (I think) 3% on those 3 categories from before and 1% on everything else.
I use the original card for the main 3 categories (5%) and the freedom card for everything else.
The creditcards.com site prm linked has some cards that give 5% back on those cats but they only do it for the first 6 or 12 months. If you can't find one that offers it indefinitely (and they can pull that out from under you at any time anyway I guess) I'd go with one of those and call when it's close to expiring and ask for them to extend it.
Every now and then there will be some sort of insane bonus for opening a card, but I don't know of any really good ones currently.

Depends on the type of rewards you like, but my current favorite is the AMEX Starwood card. You get 10,000 pts after your first purchase and $1 = 1 point. Redeem for free hotel stays which start at 3,000 pts per night depending on the hotel. I think you can also use the points to transfer for flights as well.
I also use a Discover card with 5% cash back on gas/food purchases. I get a good chunk of money back with that as well.
www.best-card.com is a good site to find reward cards.

I've got a Discover (http://www.discovercard.com/discover/data/cashback/) card too. It has nice rewards but keep in mind not all places accepts it.

I have one of the Discover cards with 5% back on gas/automotive. A nice card, most places take it, but I have a visa with amazon.com (that rewards card sucks) and my bank card(s) if the Discover isn't accepted.
