It has started again, at least at the Meadowood location here.

For interested parties, they had a pretty weak selection when I went at 5:00 PM. 3x BioShock, 1x Blue Dragon, and no Wii or PS3 titles to be seen.

I went to the one on McLeod. They didn't have any signs up so in order to get the sale I had to mention that it was happening at Meadowood (thanks mrelusive). While he was phoning them, he tried a 2 for 40 sku (I'm guessing an old one) and it worked. So the moral of the story is, if they say the deal isn't on, get them to try the sku as it might just work.

I was able to get a friend of mine a copy of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Bioshock, since he has wanted both games badly.

Picked up Lair, Two worlds, Madden 08 (Wii), Bioshock, Warhawk, Blue Dragon, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, and NHL 08 (PS3). I went up to the counter a tad bit embarressed with the sheer amount of stuff in my hands, but was calmed to find that the only people judging me would be the two stoners that were staring at their hands with some 3D glasses on yelling "HOLY SHIT IT'S IN 3D!" I'm in Windsor, first Rogers I went to said they weren're participating in the deal, which ended up being a good thing, as I went to the one on Cabana and picked up Bioshock and Two Worlds. They still had a Bioshock, Metroid Prime 3 and a bunch of Final Fantasy XII's left. Good stuff.

I phoned earlier and the employee said they didn't check the emails yet. She seemed clueless on the whole thing though. Hopefully by later tonight or tomorrow they'll have read 'em before it's too late and the weekend is over. By the way, how you liking your PS3? I got mine 2 months ago and It's great fun. I'm addicted to Folklore.

so far I am moderately impressed. I've got Ratchet and Clank future weapons or whatever on rental and I am loving it so far. I'm hoping to find some other games I like as well soon. Watching movies in blu-ray is nice, I watched blood diamond which I also rented from Rogers and it was awesome

I don't have R + C yet but I liked the others. If you're looking for games I might suggest Folklore, Warhawk is fun if you have online, Ninja Gaiden if you haven't played the XBOX one, and Resistance but you might want to wait until it drops in price a bit, it's a good game but not worth it at 60(IMO). Blu rays are pretty nice. I only have 300 which didn't look too great but my mom bought happy feet and that was a huge difference.

At Rogers the computer takes a Left on Shelf report for the weekend. If all copies of a new game haven't gone out in a week, there will be some thrown on the PV wall (depending on how many copies they recieved).
