The question is though, WHEN in 2005 is it going to come out?

Yeah, Seth Green was recently in Chicago promoting his new movie(Without a paddle) and someone asked him about family guy. He said they are making 36 new episodes for the series and said it should air sometime in spring 2005. I think March 2005, but am not sure.
Also, Seth Mcfarlane has a new series in the works called American Dad. Sounds like it could also be interesting.

I will be curious where it goes, I have heard that both Fox and Cartoon Network are interested in it. Should be interestin to see some sort of price battle for it.

Didn't see that, but Seth McFarlane did an interview with JoBlo.com a few months back where he said that he was done with most of the scripts for American Dad, whcih will most likely air on Fox next Jan. and had 5 scripts prepared for Family Guy, which he wasn't sure whether it'd go to Fox or CN, but did say it'd be on the air by next June/July.

This whole past week he was introducing his favorite Family Guy episodes. His introductions usually ended up being a whole lot funnier than the episodes.
I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to have sex with a grasshopper?

Yeah its going to come out in either March or June because two nights ago Alex Borstein was talking about it on the radio.

I can't wait, it unseated The Simpsons as my favorite show as soon as it came out. Even the crappy episodes had plenty of laughs.

I remember reading this way back on IGn when they did some interview with him. Anybody know if it's going to be on Cartoon Network or Fox?
I remember that in the article it said that due to the popularity of the show on CN and the large quantity of DVDs sold, that they were thinking of bringing it back and had started righting scripts, with him already having a few done. It also said that he was thinking of doing a Family Guy movie straight to DVD where Stewie would find out he's gay or something like that.

Update for fans: On August 18 and August 25 there will be "mini-marathons" of Family Guy on FOX from 8pm -10 pm. Each night will feature 4 of Seth's favorite episodes from the first three seasons. The new episodes WILL be airing on FOX (not Cartoon Network like some rumors were saying) and will start in 2005.

no sorry, im a huge fan and have been trying to find out that info but i do not think its been released yet, however, if you use logical reasoning, i would expect a first quarter 2005 release (FOX would probably wait to run these marathons if they wernt planning on launching it within the next 6 months or so)

The pilot for American Dad looks stupid. Too much like Family Guy.
