Halo 2 co-op??

I was just wondering if Halo 2 had the co-op that the 1st one did..i can't find a site that would confirm it !!! if anyone knows tell me plz..

WTF Scorch?!?!? Where did you get that? I'm not sure if it is real, but i would assume (read: HOPE!) that Halo 2 has co-op. I know that most of my game time has been spent playing that and multi.

There were several Halo 2 pics leaked by a beta tester I think. They were confirmed real, and that guy got in trouble (ie lost his job/whatever he had associated with them) with Bungie. System Link will be just as big as it was in Halo 1. Don't worry about it.

I read an article saying not only well there splitscreen co-op but xbox live co-op. This was in the Halo 2 issue of Game Informer from a couple of months ago.

there are a few idiots who think halo 1 was really really overrated and they didnt like the game at all so ill assume they wont want 2 a lot. I cant wait for it. I really really hope there is split screen co-op because thats what me and my friend did the most.

I've played Halo 1 on other people's X-boxes. The link Multiplayer is great, the weapons are pretty good, the enemies are pretty good. I just hope they improve their level design in Halo 2. It wasn't awful or anything, just a bit uninspired.

i can't wait for 2. i've got my gift card loaded with 50 and tax for the day it comes out to cover it. it's sitting right here on my keyboard

Yeah, the MP levels are fantastic besides some really really bad ones like boarding action or chlron TL34. Otherwise, the other maps are all pretty good.

As for the SP levels...I got kinda tired of seeing the same textures over and over and over and over. The last like 3 or 4 levels are just rehashes, but with Floodies. Still a good SP experience tho.

Some of the single player level were just awful, IMO.

On the whole, though, the game was (and is) fantastic. They did a lot right and made a good game.

The one thing I am PRAYING for in Halo 2 (which is neither confirmed nor denied) is offline multiplayer with bots. I don't think it would be very hard to implement and it would push this game from a good to a great or possibly awesometastic game experience for me.

Same here. I dont have broadband, and Im lucky if my friends are able to come over to my house once a month to play Halo.

Yea, take the library for example. Gawd I hate that level.

ha! i played through the library yesterday on legendary with a pal. still too easy, but plenty of fun.

yea, some of the single player levels really sucked. chiron tl34 is actually a very fun level to play though. boarding action isn't, however.

I hated that level where it would be dark and you get sniper rifles and stuff. the begginning part is awesome but then you got teleported into the ship and that sucked

Man I did I hate that level. Even in Co-op we had trouble. We had to put the Brightness on full to see everything
