View Full Version : Guitar Hero 3 Bundle $60 BB In Store? YMMV

I might've just lucked out but here's my story:
This morning at 10 AM I bought GH3 disk only online to pick up in store. I look on my slip and printable email and it says "Guitar Hero 3 - Xbox 360"; nothing about it being disk only. Anyways I go to best buy and give them the slip and they give me the full bundle for $60!
Now, I dunno if it was just my luck, or if it's because it doesn't indicate it's disk only when you buy online for in store, but did anyone else score like I did?

Wow. I'm thinking you must've lucked out big time. If anyone else scored the same way, I'd be curious. If so, it'd be worth giving it a shot.
Edit: Hmm... The 360 bundle isn't even available for in-store pick-up according to BB's website.

Yeah, you got really lucky. The CSR should have checked the UPC on the slip, which would have indicated whether or not it was the bundle.
But honestly, this isn't a deal. This would fall under bragging rights as someone goofed up and you got a 'deal.'

I got Guitar Hero 3 x360 bundle for $60 last night at gamestop. the receipt said guitar hero 3 x360, though it did show the price $60 (i ordered the game only version). But when i went to pick it up, the guy handed me the bundle set. I know it was a mistake but walked away with it anyway. I felt pretty bad but eh, I just went along with it

no, brick and mortar store. i preordered it in full earlier in the night. i went back for the midnight launch...i guess since practically everyone in front of me ordered the bundle set, the guy mechanically gave me a bundle set too.
