PS1 ac cord nothing else $25
SNES no cords or anything $25
Dreamcast VMU card all beat up and dirty $10
I have alot more but those are the ones I remember right this second I will post more as I remember them.

My goodwill had a sega genesis for 40. I bought a N64 controller for 10 from them about 6 months ago. I had been looking for one for a long time and didn't feel like messing around with online.

Local electronics store had the original chunky Game Boy. Used. 75 dollars.
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

My GW had a bootleg movie for sale (it looked like it was x-men 3) I also saw them trying to sell a demo of some game for $5. They had a C&C game but when I went to look at it the actual game was gone and it only had some demo disc in it and they wanted $20 for it.

A local thrift store had a dirty PlayStation with a broken lid and no connections for $39.90. I bought a clean, pretty JVC X'Eye with the JVC controller there the same day for $9.00.
Works great.

Shop near me once had the Soul Hunter anime boxset used for 80-ish.
Mind you, at the time you could get the same set brand-new for $40 at full retail price. And this shop was in the parking lot of the local mall, which had a Suncoast with the boxset in stock.

See, I guess maybe your local Salvation Army stores don't ship off to other stores in your area, Phear, since I know ours locally would ship out stuff that doesn't sell in one store to another and another and another.
Worst thing I've ever seen? How about disc only PS1 games for $5-6 each and scratched to hell to boot. Or a PS1 with hookups, for the low, low, low price of $39.99. Or a SNES with hookups for the same price too.
Best though, HAS to go to the BK games for $40 each at the one flea market stand here. The guy sells games, cds and dvds and wants outrageous prices for his stuff. I just snicker when I go to look at his stand and see 90% of the same shit I saw the last time I was there 2 months earlier.

Local overpriced store is filled to the brim with rare and sought after games, tons of them I would want, but everything is priced 175% over eBay prices, its insane. I was looking through the GBA collection which a good 50% were bootleg and the prices were so outrageous I've never gone back. I mean $45 for a bootleg, cart only Super Mario World (GBA)??? Somehow the guy is still there and has been for about 2 years, I think I may stop in someday to take another peek.

I also saw the BK games at the flea market this year...difference is that they were rotting at this flea market for probably about $4 asking price lol hard to believe that this isn't too far away as this guy sounds like he's selling on a different planet :D

I don't have any places like this near me in my smaller area but these people must charge for admission as at prices like these stores like this sound more like video game museums to me.

My goodwill has all kind of of bootlegs for sale. I was just in there about a week ago looking for stuff for my halloween costume. I seen a handful of dvdrs labeled with markers in printed dvd cases. The CDs were even worse, minus the holiday ones all of them seemed to be burned disc.

There's a woman who runs a pure Video Game store. She has a ton of older games (some are rare) and nearly every system. I'm not sure how she stays in bussiness exactly. She has a boxed sega master system for $90, NES (uploader) $85..and for the NES and SNES games she wants $15-$25+ a piece. Some would be worth it however, she has taken a red marker and in permenant red ink marked all over the cartiage tops.
Then I noticed a sign, red marks indicate 'rarer' games. (The more red, the rarer) and then kept several SNES RPG's and some pretty uncommon games in a case and called them collectables. Kind of sad...

about 85 bucks for a top loader nes is about what you would expect to pay
nes games for 15 each is common if they are rare. hell i got a box of around 400 Nes games i would love to dump for 15 each Hell 5 each be nice LOL
1 bad thing about SNES games is the battery dies the game is almost worthless
Went to Games For Less in Fullerton looking for a DS Fat charger, and was told they're $20 used. They're only $10 new across the street at Circuit City...
Anyways, nearly everything in there is pretty high in price. They've got a TON of games in there, and a lot of it's vintage stuff (some complete, some not). Used NES's for $59.99, original Game Boy for $39.99, Starcraft 64 (cart only) $44.99. Lots of great items, horrible prices.

I remember going into a local pawn shop a year or so ago. They had the first Lunar on PSone and at FIRST I got exited....then I realized it didnt have the book, only disk 2 (which was scratched badly) and he wanted $80 for it. I tried to explain that it wasn't even playable and he said "Then don't buy it" ...havent been back since

There is a place by me. That sells old video game stuff and they are overpriced. I bought a psone controller non dual shock. It was 10 dollars. Just to get home and realize the x button was broke. I took it back and they gave me a newer one but he told me they do not test the controllers when the systems get traded in. What a way to get a customer to come back. I haven't been there since then. that was like 6 months ago.

Movie Gallery selling GT3 for $34.99 used when the MSRP was $19.99 used, also selling various used PS2 games for $48.99 when they could easily be bought for $30 - $40 new.
I remember going to FAO Schwarz in NYC in 1997, they wanted $95 for N64 games like Mischief Makers. With tax it would have been over $100 and I think the MSRP was $49.99 (maybe $59.99).
