Xbox Live Down?

Hey guys, I assume xbox live is down? www.xbox.con does NOT WORK, nor does xbox live....

I am in new york, its 7am, and I have tired to connect several times...
xbox passes all test, just wont connect to xbox live...

Probably best to post this in the 360 forum, but there does seem to be a problem as I can't login to my Live account from work.

Its an hour later, but I was connecting to both Xbox.com and Live fine a few minutes ago.
