*updated* I have now decided to keep all of my games instead of selling some of them

aaah I am just going to keep them. cause now that I think about I like knowing that i have the games in my collection even if I dont play them. The games are apart of me I like showing themt o my friends as well as just knowing they are there. I will probably still sell any doubles I get but I dont think i will sell any of teh others. Thanks to every one who helped me puzzle over this. Now that I think about it I would have kicked my self over and over if I sold off my collection I like them way to much even if they dont all get played. So once again thanks for helping me mull this over.

I have some games that are worth a decent bit of money. Now I have been collecting them so I can say hey look what I have but I am not sure if I should sell off a few of them or maybe start a trade list. I like knowing I own them but I will never play all of them so I am torn should I keep collecting them or should I sell/trade a few? Below is a small list of some of the games I have. I know I dont want to sell/trade them all away but I am torn if I should sell/trade at least some of them.

If your questioning it you should probably get rid of them (or some of them) as it sounds as if your growing out of collecting but keep your favorites. It's ultimately up to you but from what your saying I'd think that'd be the best solution since it sounds as if your on the fence.

You are the guy bragging about scoring all the SS6's, and now you are pondering whether or not to keep them... should you decide to get rid of some of those... say Strider 2, and the TG-16 games... send me a PM with asking prices

Well I know I want to keep some of the games cause I really like them but I question keeping games like Persona 2 cause I will probably never play it. So I was trying to decide if I should sell/trade the games I dont think i will play or should I keep them to say I own them. I like collecting games but right now they are some that are just sitting there un played and I have to wonder should I part with some of my collection in order to pick up new games or shpuld I hold on to them so I can say i have some rare games. Some games like FF 2 and Tales of destiny are games I like to much and so i want to keep but others like Persona 2 is not a game I see my self playing. And that of course brings me to my question should I sell some of my games I know are rare just cause I wont play them or should I hold on to them just to tell people that I own them? I love older games and I do enjoy playing them should I keep the ones I doupt I will ever play. Part of collecting is the thrill of the find that is why I was thinking of selling/ trading some than I could use the moeny to go out trying to find more games and keep the ones I like and sell the others but than I would have the knolage of knowing I owned a rare game and sold it an dsome day I may kick my self and that is why it is so confusing for me. So far I am leading towards starting a trading thread on here to trade/sell some of them but I am really torn right now. I do love games alot especialy the classics I just dont know if I want to collect every rare game that I come across.

I think I will start trading some of my games. The ones I like alot I will keep but the ones I either dont like or dont think I will play I will trade/sell them off. I will make a trade list later after I go through my games and decide which ones to trade/sell. Any tips for me about how I should go about this?

Give some more thought since you'll probably encounter Seller's Remorse (or Trader's Remorse) once they're gone and in hindsight decided you want to keep them.

Well I am torn becuase the reason I picked them up was becuase they were rare but I know that I wont play all of them. I obviously am not wanting to sell all of my games cause I would have nothing to play but I was thinking I could unload just part of my games that I wouldnt play like persona for example. But than again if I sell it I wont have as many rare games in my collection. But what is more important keeping a game cause its rare or selling it to buy games I would actually play? I am really confused i love games to death and I will never stop playing games but I dont know if I should keep collecting just because its rare or if I should just collect the games I want. Part of me says that I should collect all the games so I can boost my collection and another part of me says that I should sell some and get games I would play more often. Any one else have any thoughts on the matter? Cause now I am even more orn than before on what I should do.
