Well, I've got Mass Effect coming from my Liongames preorder. I paid it off a while ago, so that won't go against my Christmas shopping fund.

Any other purchases will be Christmas related: my son wants Drawn to Life for the DS, and Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. I have some BB RZ certificates to spend, maybe I'll use them on The Orange Box or The Simpsons Game for 360, and let them be an XMas gift from my wife to me.

Actually, the purchase I'm most excited about this month will be Bender's Big Score, the first of the straight-to-DVD Futurama movies. November 27th can't get here soon enough!

Don't think that would work. These figures are "blind box", which means that you have to open the box to see what figure you got. Your best bet is to buy by the case. With the Square Enix trading figures, you're then guaranteed at least one of each figure. Of course, you'll wind up with extras, but those can be sold or traded.

Oh, and speaking of Square Enix toys, my chocobos arrived today! They are so damned adorable:

Unlike Play-Asia and other places, there is no markup-- you pay the actual Japanese retail price (less if you preorder early enough). However, limited-edition items tend to sell out very, very quickly, so it's one place you definately want to place preorders with whenever possible.

Yeah, I use them a lot now as they are among the cheapest, if not the cheapest place to import Japan toys from (at least online). Have a rather huge December order set up. Kind of dreading that, actually, but all the toys I ordered will go OOS very quickly, I believe.

HLJ gets huge amounts of money from me. I dread large orders as well, but it's cost-effective when shipping's factored in.

The Play Arts action figures are always cheaper in the US (why that is, I've never been able to figure out-- there's no real difference in the quality). The chocobo plushes are going to be slightly cheaper, but not by much ($1-2 at the current exchange rate). Not really sure about the rest.

Already bought or paid for COD4 (360) and Mass Effect LCE from BestBuy. With coupons, Rewards Certs, and store credit I paid less than $22.

I got an email saying that my rewards certs that I used for Mass Effect would expire soon, so I assume that they don't actually use them until ship date. If not, then I'll probably pick up Orange Box (unless my wife makes me use it for something for my son, LAWL).

I also have some store credit at GC and a 20% off used (no stack with MVP) coupon with no expiration. I might pick up a Wii game-haven't bought anything for it since I got it last April. I'm thinking Super Paper Mario or WW:SM (doubt I can find SMG used).

Got incredibly lucky today at Goodwill.

Went in looking for an Xbox controller for a friend, and walked out with a Guitar Hero III 360 bundle (wireless guitar and complete game, no big box) for $40. Pictures to follow - the guitar had some fingerprints on it, but it's in great shape (batteries were still in it as the Xbox Guide button lit up). Saved $60 off of retail on it, and didn't pay tax (Goodwill is a non-profit!).

Mine was white,too.I bought mine online at gamestop.The games looked like they where resealed,though.The games had no scratches,that was plus.It appears that gamestop just took all the three games put them in a box and sold them for 29.99.

OK, I ordered and received Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for PS2 already. I just ordered The Adventures Of Darwin for PS2 on the 26th or 27th, but it hasn't arrived yet AND I'm anxiously awaiting the guide I traded another CAG for(Silent Hill Prima).

So, if a trade can count, that's 3 things for November and I may add a couple more for December. Right now, I'm looking at the Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Zombie Ninja Pro-Am game and one other(whose name eludes me right now lol).

Gonna be a busy time for me, at least until the new year, since I have Bully, Matrix: Path Of Neo, Family Guy and many other games to finish.
