Trade in 2 games for $20 towards ANY preorder @ EB B&M

Funnily enough, this was suggested to me by the guy working at EB today. You guys probably know about the deal where you can trade in almost any game (excluding older sports titles and such) for $10 towards a preorder of Madden 2005, Halo 2, Fable, GT4, GTA:SA, X-Men Legends, Pikmin 2, and a couple others. You can trade in up to 2 games towards each one (hence the $20), and apparently as many as you like for Madden. However, as this guy said, you can come in next week (or whenever) and change the preorder to anything else, even it's not one of the games on their list - a nice little loophole. So, Burnout 3, PoP2, R&C:UYA, or whatever else you desire can be yours for much cheaper as well. Especially good for all those CC games you have lying around and will probably never, ever play.

I second this missing exclusion list, it'd really help me out from lugging over a shitload of games to EB just to get Madden for free.

This is all I could find for the exclusions list...is there any newer ones? This one is a few months old and from the Halo 2 deal...it's a list nonetheless.

i'd say the lists are pretty similar. if anything, people have been getting away with even more crap this time around (some sports games, etc.).

I did this all the time back on the 4 for 1 deal last fall/winter where you could preorder Halo 2, Fable, Ninja Gaiden, PGR 2, and one or two more games. I must have preordered Ninja Gaiden like 5 times (never had more than 1 NG preorder at a time). That was back when their exclusion list wasn't as nearly as huge as it is today though. I was always using $5 CC games back then too, like Crazy Taxi 3, Haven, Taz: Unwanted, plus a few other crappy $5 games over and over again. I stopped doing it once Haven and a few of the other CC games popped up on their exclusion list.

Can you spin a preorder into a general credit????

I want to trade in 4 games toward Pikmin 2 . . . do it once and then convert it to credit and then do it a second time putting the credit toward the game . . . would this work???? Guess I should try it.

i'm fairly sure you can get over ten dollars for most of those xbox games at gamecrazy, just so you're aware.

...no gamecrazys near...I traded in Midnight Club, Madden 2004, Tetris Worlds, Amplitude, and Conflict Desert Storm II.

...and Tetris Worlds I have on the combo disk already, it didn't have online either. Got that one for Christmas at about $30 two X-Mas's ago
...Madden was 45 with the Madden '02 trade-in but I played over 120 hours with it, well worth the money. Plus I would never play it again once I got the new one.

...Basically I got my money's worth from the deal. I think it was a total of $17 trade in value and I got a free copy of Madden 2005 for it, I'm happy.
