They're the ones in the Tins. They also say "Do not open until 9-25-07" They're all brand new.

I'm sure anyone that gives a damn about Halo has it already. That being said, have fun with them. At least you'll make 20 or so profit in trade-in cash.

sounds sketchy how you just GOT them

I see no mention of it.

So how did you get 3 of them for $70?

Since those will be the first run collector's editions(hence the street date sticker), they're probably damaged. I'd be weary of selling them on ebay.

Ah crap. And for people who wonder where I got em at? I got them at the fleamarket. There was a guy selling a ton of stuff there. He had at least 10 Halo 3s. He also had a few Paper Marios and several surround sound items. He's been there for a few years. Not as good at the 300 Dark Alliance IIs I got, but still a rather good find.

Damn it. Now I feel sad. At least Gamestop gives 35 credit for it. So It isn't a total loss.

Yeah next time you might want to actually pay attention to what you're hoarding.

If I was hoarding, I would have actually bought all the halo 3s. But eh, I can use this towards something like Haze.

One has to wonder where HE go them from though, since he sold you three for $70. The only things for sale at my local flea market of real note are $2-4 dvds, some which are near flawless, but the rest is crap. You have overpriced cds that're disc only($7 for a disc only cd, no thanks) and the BK games @ the one stand for $40 each.

Good find, though as others have said, best of luck trying to get rid of them. If you check Secondspin.com, the FYE stores and other Transworld chains(Coconuts, etc) give $26(reg edition), $28.75(LE) and $65(Legendary), so maybe FYE or another store in that chain is a better place than Gamestop.

Also consider that those totals can only go UP with the 25% additional credit for taking only credit.

I have found tons of stuff at my fleamarkets. Some of my best finds were a complete Warsong for five dollars, complete Phantasy Stars for five dollars. And two dollar secret of Manas. Though nothing too great today...

my local flea markets have guys like this. they're usually legit. many retail stores sell off items that are, or may be, damaged, at auction or lot sales. i bought a complete premium 360 from one such seller for $85. works 100%. i also have 10 wireless controllers, and i haven't paid over $6 for any of them.

the Halo sets sound like a good deal. i don't know if you'll have any trouble selling them, but don't worry -- you won't lose money, and sometimes it's just fun to score a deal and worry about the details later. i've been there.

Like you did with the 300 copies of Dark Alliance II. Who the fuck needs 300 personal copies... oh that's right a hoarder. The definition of a hoarder is one who buys multiple copies for the sake of profit.

I disagree with this. People who flip games are looked upon as gods here.

Yeah because sitting on those shelves for a few years really meant people were getting at those games. The store employees themselves were glad that SOMEONE bought those games. After languishing for several years there without selling a one, I bought em all. I"ve flipped a few at gamestop, traded for what I want and sold several of em. They have quite a good list of what they'll go for. I've gotten Rune Factory for nothing. Chulip for nothing and on and on and on.
