Looking for a good tv above 32 inches that supports at least 720p. I looked at all the black friday ads and i am really dissapointed with how few deals there are, unless i missed something. Anyone know any good deals now or coming up in a few weeks? Does amazon usually have tv sales on black friday?:D Price limit $1000

vizio 37" LCD flat panel 720p for $799 @ circuit city , saw it today. if you calibrate this correctly, i think with a dvd software, it's said to look competitive with the samsungs and sonys. projection screens will give you more screen size for the money, but lack viewing angles, wall mountabilty, and have a higher repair rate. toshiba's "regza" models are third in picture quality to samsung and sony, but can be found at great deals. costco has the toshiba 37" 720p flat panel LCD for $899. BB has the 32" SONY bravia for less than $800 right now. for your price range, go with sony, toshiba, or vizio, in descending price range, for a quality picture.

Olevia haters can stop reading now.
Kmart will have a 32" Olevia on Thanksgiving Day for $420.
Target will have a 37" Olevia on BF for $550.
I consider either to be an excellent deal.
