Best TV tuner software?

Just got a computer with a tv tuner card and have been looking around for software to run systems and such on it. I found dscaler, but that doesn't support my card and one called avs tv box that works good for video but not sound. Any suggestions?

Mediaportal and GB-PVR are both free. I'm using GB-PVR right now. By the way, what kind of TV tuner do you have?

Its a Yuan card. I am sure its not that great seeing as it came with the desktop. BTW I tried to use GB-PVR to play my dreamcast through s-video, but there doesn't seem to be an option to go through s-video or composite in the gb-pvr menus.
