Sometimes I click on a thread and it takes me to the xbox live sign on screen right away. I dont click on anything, it just happens. Just curious if i am going nuts, or if this is happening to anyone else.

Well, the site has been VERY unresponsive for me. It even made me log back in. I can't tell if the problem is site related or shitty Indonesian ISP related. I tend to blame the latter more often than not.

Can this be isolated to a specific thread?

Just happened to me in the general gaming thread, then the OTT, then this thread.

Hmm I never have never gotten this problem before. However, CAG has been kinda buggy for me recently.

It's happened to me many times over the last few days - it's because of the Microsoft-created gamertags people are using.
They stupidly require you to be signed into xbox live to view, so it causes an error on pages where people posting have them in their sigs.

Hmmm...nothing on CAG has changed that should be causing this, however Xbox.com was down for maintenance the other day and they might have made some changes on their end.
Do you think its from the XBL card beneath people's avatar or from something in thier signatures?

It's possible, but I have sigs dissabled and I still get asked to log into XBox Live.

I'm guessing it's the links underneath the avatars.

I know it doesn't seem like a browser issue, but I'm using Opera and it hasn't happened to me yet.

Heh, check my post above yours. I feel so ignored! Yes, that's what's causing it.

Daphatty has one of those cards in his sig, but I can't recreate the problem, even i fi logout of MSN/XBL. Do people get this problem on the 1st page of this thread?

I've never run into this. I have sigs and avs turned off, and I use IE and FF fairly equally. I don't know if that says anything.
I'm guessing it's the links underneath the avatars. These still load just fine for me.

I got it clicking into this page of the thread.
What's happening to me now is when I go into this thread, it warns me that I'm going to a place with a non-secure connection (the exact same thing it says when I sign into XBox Live on the internet), but it no longer takes me to xbox.com.

I had a similar problem like the one described several months ago. I found out that it was somebody who had a fake gamertag that caused every page he posted on to go nuts with the MSN/Live sign-in page until I put him on my ignore list, then everything went back to normal. It doesn't happen anymore, but that's similar to what Ikohn's describing.
I haven't seen the problem around here (in both Firefox and IE).
I came in thinking the problem would be related to the search box. That seems to go wonky on me every now and then. Spits an error sometimes.

My problem has been that, when I click on certain pages in certain threads, the page will start to load up and then it will send me back to the previous one. It actually just did that in this thread when I clicked on page 2.

Ok, I've made another change. I've replaced the gamercard from Xbox.com with the one from mygamercard.net.
Still having problems?
