"Assassin's Cred." Aside from that hilarious Rabbid-as-Altair picture, I like that Wombat gave even more notice to what was clearly a biased review by IGN. "Cut and paste error," my ass; they got caught, and were forced to change it. Bravo!

My least favourite post of Wombat's was the Make Mine Marvel post

http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/comments/make_mine_marvel/

Just for the fact that I was looking forward to the game and he's delivering crappy news.

Edit - Crap. I'm *sure* I heard Cheapy say favourite or *least* favourite.

In that case, my favourite would be the "Assassin's Cred" post - for the clever title.

"I'm just here for the children." This is my favorite becuase no matter how you take it, it's funny. You either picture children crowding around Wombat as if he is some lovable Barney-esque character, or you picture Wombat rampaging through TRU, devouring children. :-)

Edit: I just watched that Halo kid video, and I think I changed my mind. That little guy was really sweet, and so grateful to his parents. Brings a tear to me eye.
Edit edit: N/m, Rusty posted that one.

My favorite so far is the "Having My Cake" post about Portal. I agree that in this day and age, it is insanely difficult to avoid spoilers for games.

Make Mine Marvel (http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/make_mine_marvel/)

I, like Wombat, LOVES comic books and this is a HUGE disappointment from the EA office in Chicago closing that ended a would be fighting game and now this. I was looking forward to this MMO because his would be the one I participate in.

It is sad that Marvel, one of the best source for characters, is not being utilized in the gaming world and not even a sucessful Marvel Ultimate Alliance could bring in a sequel because God knows why. I hope to see more Marvel IPs that will eventually see the light.

Its been said several times, but "A Very Halo Birthday" is also my favorite simply for one reason: The amount of respect those kids had for their parents.

As Wombat said in that post, the kid was extremely grateful and not a little brat.

My favorite blog post would be the Win Contra 4 for the DS, because it tells me how to win that awesome game, but since that wasn't posted by wombat, i guess it doesn't count...

So I would go for the Assasin's Cred (http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/assassins_cred/) one because I like reading about those kinds of edits and the picture is great , I haven't ventured myself to read the cake one because I know that it involves spoilers for Portal and I haven't played it yet, son I can't judge it.

My favorite right now is the article "The Internet; Doing Your Parent’s Job Since 1995" as it talks about a site http://www.whattheyplay.com/, that helps parents determine what games are appropriate for their children.

I think it's important to parents who are non-gamers, because even in M-rated games there's a big difference between a game like Halo 3 and Manhunt 2. Both games are Mature, but the content that earned both games the M was very different.

For example, Halo 3's "appropriate age" is 13, while Manhunt 2's is 17. Which I agree with completely. May have the blood and violence, but it's not necessarily gratuitous in the way that Gears of War is. By the way, Gears of War's "appropriate age" is 16.

I agree completely with this site. I think a site like this really helps a parent understand the ESRB rating and determine if their child should or should not play the game.

"The Internet - Doing your Parent's job since 1995" is my current favorite!

I liked this post because it is so true. I think that too often the entire video game system takes the place of parenting. People plop their kids in front of the xbox and let them play whatever, whenever with whoever. No wonder every Halo 3 game on XBL has a bunch of potty-mouthed 10 year olds talking about each others moms...

Also I liked the video of the kid getting the Halo 360 for his birthday. I know it wasn't a wombat post but it was funny. The best might have been if they had video of them setting up the system and a subsequent RRoD right after startup. That would have been classic!

The best had to have been the article about the internet doing your parenting. As a parent and a gamer I am always left in shock about just how ignorant parents are willing to be about the games their kids are playing.

Known Issues Ruin XBox Live Old Originals.

Seriously, why pay $15 (1200 MS Points) for a digital download that you do not physically own, when you can get most of the games used for 5 bucks (or brand new for 10 bucks like Fusion Frenzy and Fables at Circuit City). Not to mention with the actual disc, you can play it on both your 360 or glitch free (gasp!) on your original Xbox, as well as take the game to your friend's house and play it over there.

My favorite was the Alarmist Friday Post about Link stealing rupees because I had had the exact same thought many times.
I remember playing my first Zelda game (A Link to the Past) and seeing the pots in the houses and wondering if I can pick them up. I did then I accidentally threw it, I heard a crashing sound and didn't know what to do. I looked at the home owner they did say anything. I saw them money and wondered if they would try and kill me if I took it. So, I took it and nothing happened. Since then I've stolen thousands of dollars from the poor chicken farmers. But now that I've written this I fell a bit better.

Having My Cake. Because seriously, Portal is awesome.

One of the hardest parts about Portal is that even though the first 18 levels are pretty fun, they do not compare to the finale. So until someone finishes it, they probably can't understand what all the fuss is about.

My favorite part of Wombat's blog is definitely the MOTS tag. As for posts I'd go with the Ghostbusters http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/comments/are_you_the_keymaster/

The one that really caught my eye and I thought was an interesting read was You are, the Last Starfighter (http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/you_are_the_last_starfighter/)

I've always been a big fan of that particular movie and it was neat to get some history on the old arcade machine.

"If you could make any game a movie..." is my favorite, largely because of the Mario movie poster, but also because the idea of an Oregon Trail movie is hilarious.

The Assassin's Cred. Those Rabbids are everywhere these days. There should also be a Naruto Rabbid soon I hope.

For me, it was the Super Mario Galaxy Launch Party (http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/super_mario_galaxy_launch_party/), which saw Wombat unleash his heretofore unrevealed photography skills. An actual camera! To take actual pictures! What will he think of next?!?

What About the Children?

The video was very entertaining and I like Wombat's witty response.

Here's my favorite:

http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/mario_exclusive_on_atari_in_1983/#When:13:34:00Z

I just think it's funny. Does Wombat read these after he's written them?

"Yet, the most interesting this about this clip is how much the industry has changed..."
"Hopefully, I will still be around 25 years from to now to posting a follow up to this."

Alarmest Friday Post is my favorite of Wombat's post. It is exactly what I have been thinking about my favorite hero for years. Bravo to Wombat for voicing my own personal thoughts.

Worst was "Having My Cake" because I haven't finished portal yet.

best was "Assassin’s Cred" I like the bunny

On a side note you should put up wallpaper sized images in a download section or somethingl Many of your posts have images I want as a backgound.

Assassin's Cred, since it features a Rabbid and anything with a Rabbid is gold.

I have been known to enjoy Wombat's comic sensibilities, but it's his sincere post on the recent Marvel cancellation(s) that's resounded with me the most so far. I've also greatly enjoyed Marvel Ultimate Alliance and am flabbergasted that a (likely labor-intensive and improved) next-gen sequel is not in the offing. Replaying the game to unlock more "stuff" is actually pretty fun for this fan of the Marvel universe; I just wish some kind of related new gaming experience could be had. (More of the current CAG Foreplay prize, anyone? Or Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as a downloadable Xbox Original?)

The Alarmist Friday Post, because I love sarcasm, and I can see someone actually complaining about that in this day and age. I bet all those years of playing Zelda games has led to to assault countless breakable vessels, hasn't it, Wombat? HASN'T IT!?

Someone alert the ESRB! This is a travesty...

The pic of the Assasin Rabbid was great too. The rabbids are so freakin' cute ;)

Hands down: The Internet; doing your parents job since 1993. The headline was so hilarious, I'll forgive the semicolon misuse.

It was funny, because that's almost how things are these days, you know?

I like: (http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/cagcast_96_is_on_the_air/)
CAGcast 96 Is On The Air (http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/cagcast_96_is_on_the_air/)
http://gamesblog.ugo.com/index.php/gamesblog/more/cagcast_96_is_on_the_air/

Main reason: I like reading Gaming news and being able to see that the CAGcast is posted as well. Saves time at work ;). Now I can plan what to do with my afternoon at work (loading the cagcast to my ipod for the train ride home >:P).

I would have to say my favorite post is the following post:
"The Internet; Doing Your Parent's Job Since 1995".

Hilarious in title and reading that parents will trust other supposed parents to rate the age limits on games is also funny.

Hitman: The Advertisement based on the Movie based on the Game would have to be one of my favorite posts.
I am a fan of the series and am looking forword to seeing the movie, but I'm hoping they don't butcher his character very much to appease the mass audiences.

Definitely "A Very Halo Birthday" is my favorite. It's the most sincere reaction I've seen out of a kid in a long time and really tugs at the ol' heartstrings....good find Wombat.

I'm going to buck the trend and list my LEAST favorite post: "Girl on Girl Action (Not Mass Effect Related)."

The fact that it's about one of the worst shows on television doesn't make it bad, nor does the fact that Guitar Hero gets yet another TV spot. No, what makes this article horrid is that it's the worst butchering of the English language I've ever read. Seriously, Wombat...don't you guys edit these things before you post them? There are sentence fragments, incomplete thoughts, and rampant punctuation everywhere.

What happened to your interns?

That was pretty hilarious. it happened to my wife years ago when the first Tomb Raider came out. She had nightmares of big guns and back problems.
