Heat issue? It dosen't look like it had a clean/easy life.
Got it at Gamestop.. guess I'll return it for another (DOL-001 component version :) )

Dur, it's the fan, it's not even turning on. Time to trade out w/ Gamestop on Monday :)

It's not really a double post when he is just updating us after ten days... Your post is more like spam...
And, OP, glad to see you resolved your problem:) Hopefully GS won't be a bitch about it becauase it has been over 10 days, because it is used? (I don't know about their used console policy however.)

Shouldn't have a problem. Every time I've been there recently, they remind me used products have a 30 day warranty.

I was able to return it, I was still within the 30 day return window.
I swear, some kiddies were NOT kind to their GCNs, the GS dude was able to find another Black Digital Out for me, but it was in the same ruff condition as the one I returned. However the fan is working on this one, and I have an additional 30 days to test this one out (plan on doing that this weekend)
I feel like I should just go in to the GS and 'tip' the guy $10 so he'll let me just rumage (civily) thru their GCN stock so I can find the best condition..... from the GS's I've been to (3 now) they treat that back room as some holy grail room that 'noob cust0merz' are not allowed to enter. :( Sulk
