I have some TRU store credit to burn and came across this for $10 in the clearence bin. Has any of you played this before? I saw some thread on the PSP version (poor camera & controls + super short), is the PS2 version better? In particular, how long is this game? Thanks!

Did this actually scan for $10? It's $25 at mine.

yes, they had a $9.98 sticker on it and scans in at that price... it's definietly not a price mistake but could be a YMMV?

Fairly short, fairly ugly, and though the camera is now user controlled it still stinks. I found it needlessly frustrating at times, but I have a low tolerance for games that force you to repeat a lengthy platforming section because a single, otherwise easy enemy got the drop on you when the camera was going bonkers. Cool premise though, and had I paid less I'd probably have a better opinion of it ($30 was too much imo). $10 sounds good to me.

And after all that I can't remember how long it was. 8-10 hours maybe?

Thanks for the reply, I'm going to keep it, looks like it's got some unique gameplay and it;s hard to find at $10.. thanks again for the info.

That's not a fair assessment at all.

I thought it was a nice little platformer with a unique premise. It played very well and the camera was fairly easy to use when you got the hang of it. (There are some sections that are nerfed by the camera, but you can find tricks to get by it, and still finish a section fine)

The gfx were clean and colorful, it had nice voices and a decent storyline.

And that's half of the challenge, I got frustrated as well, but that's the nature of platformers, if they were easy (and some extra secret areas are near impossible, without knowing what to do)

My recommendation, if you like platformers, with a splash of cutesy thrown in (and some challenge, that is optional btw) go for it, I played it for 13-14 hours and didn't finish the time attack areas and unlock all the extras, but did collect all the artifacts and finish the main quest, and thought it was worth my time.

I think you'll have fun with it. ;)

I didn't say anything that wasn't echoed in many of the reviews. It's a decent game...for $10. ;)
