So far the Xbox codes don't work, they might later on though.

They are not seperate, they are incased in the plastic shell bundle so unless you plan on stealing it it would be hard to actually get the coupon book without buying it.

To answer some of the questions, and spare BBB having to do so:

The codes are specific to a version of the game, so if it says it is for the PS2 version, it shouldn't work for the Xbox version (but feel free to give it a try, you never know). There are, I believe, Xbox codes coming, I'm not sure for which games.

The codes do not expire for some time, but don't count on a game staying in stock. Most of the games for which he has posted codes go out of stock the same day, so get in quickly if you want to get in. Looks like the latest one is already OOS, and it has been posted for less than 2 hours. They may restock later on, but I'm not counting on it.

Hit "checkout" and both games, plus every other item in my cart, were suddenly out of stock... Well... I don't have a big thing about posting it at other sites... And for the credit thing... well I don't really care about that issue either. I understand the fact that the site operator makes money to pay for bandwidth and what not by people using the codes that are posted.

What I was really getting at by the whole thing is that BBB did not understand that this sold out so quickly... Since I appreciated the fact that he posted it.. I don't know if anyone else has tried this or thought of it, but I just tried it and Amazon accepted it and confirmed my order. Here is the deal:

Sure, it would be great for a few of us if he posted them all at once, we add them all to our carts, and get a bunch of games for a few dollars, since the combined shipping would be less than the individual shipping.
But this way more people get a chance, because I may see today's code first, but you may see tomorrow's first. The way he is doing it, the savings get spread around a little more evenly. I like it. Even if I didn't like it though, as I said, his codes/his rules.

It works in most reputable stores. They will match the website printout (as long as it shows that it is New and In Stock). I just show it to a cashier...who then calls over a manager.

Price matching is good when one place might be sold out of something...so you take it to CC or someplace and get it if they DO have it in stock. Or if it's like a web deal...you can take in the print-out even after it's sold out. I did that with Pikmin and got it for 7 bucks. There is an advantage to it in most cases.

i bought Beyond Good and Evil and price matched it at Circuit City. i just grabbed Best Buy's ad, the game at circuit city and went to pay for it and said that I found it cheaper, they matched the price plus took off 10% of the difference.
