I need a good easy to use, good results, don't need anything fancy usb input to transfer old videos. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

First thing you'll find is that usb is not the way to get quality captures.

USB's limited bandwidth makes it impossible to capture higher quality images/video

By higher quality are you talking HD quality or even 480p or 480i? Thanks/

It's hard to capture near dvd quality with usb, let alone to try HD.
The bandwith is just to slow.

I use firewire with my Digital 8 video camera and get ok results to dvd.

What are the source tapes like? Home movies, or old bought movies?
