How freaking awesome is this game. I think I'm about two chapters in and I'm having a blast. I haven't gotten far enough to ride buses yet or to use missle launchers, but I can ride copters now, catch missles individually and throw 'em back.
What's not to like about this game?
As far as I can tell only two things.
1. When targeting an object occasionally you want to run around it which is fine but the camera then needs to be adjusted which you can't do. If you use the C-Stick while locked on it switches my lock on.
2. Running up buildings is tons of fun but you don't have as much agility as I'd like. Hulk runs fast straight lines and making him change yields long curves.

that and spiderman 2 were definetly the best coic book related games ever. sucks they cant use that same gamestyle ( open world free roaming battles) for other comic games. the fantastic 4 could have been amazing with that and destructable environments.

I was thinking about that but I have to wonder how many comic heroes really lend themselves to such gameplay. The incredible Hulk is probably the best character type to just roam around and cause destruction. Spiderman works on a less destructive mode. Maybe Batman but I'm not so sure Superman or Daredevil for instance fit that open-world type gameplay.
On the other hand I'd rather have that than the trash we usually get out of most superhero games.

Hulk: UD is great. Very playable and enjoyable. I played it for a bit after completing MUA; cause that title lacked the green giant.
Hulk: UD on GC is 480p widescreen.
Hulk: UD on Xbox is 720p widescreen.
Hulk: UD on PS2 is 480p widescreen, but with slowdown. [acutally runs and looks better in 480i]
Superman Returns [video game, Xbox version] was junk. Boring, repetitive missions, same handful of enemies; complete lack of development effort. I stopped after beating giant Metallo. It was painful to keep playing. Much better alternative would be Superman: SoA on GC.

I was so surprised by this game, it has so much depth and is actually relatively long. IMHO it dethroned Spider-Man 2 for the best comic book video game, and still holds up well. I"m gonna have to play through it again soon.
