I was randomly searching through the $20 games at circuit city's website when I noticed the price on this. Did searching on a few other websites and found most were much higher. So if this is a universal price drop then ... :oops:

Pretty good price! I won't be buying, as I already beat a copy a friend brought over, but for 20 dollars, this game is a steal almost.

Ya, I'm in the same boat as you, sitting here thinking if I should buy yet ANOTHER game when I have so many others in backlog.

I had the PC version it never crashed....but the game just straight up sucked. JUst because its overly violent doesnt mean it doesnt suck balls.

Manhunt isn't that great of a game. Only buy it if you're into stealth games.
i literally HATE stealth games....and i HATE it when a stealth level is thrown into any good ol' game just to give it some different flavor....with that said, i loved this game....i guess that the violence, blood, and scare factor of the game made me lose focus on the fact that it had some heavy stealth parts

Personally, I thought this game was another over-rated Rockstar game. Somehow now having the Rockstar logo gives a game about an extra 2-3 points on every reviewers scale. Yea, its really violent, and messed up.. but its not fun, or interesting, or well made.
edit - I agree with trustcompany.. the stealth genre is terrible.. why would I want to play a game that consists of trying a level over and over and over again until you memorize the guards positions and can get through it.. only to start the same thing over on the next level? I can't wait for this genre to die out.

I also thought this game was overrated, not bad, just overrated. Many bought into the game due to its gore and violence, but once you view the stealth kills a couple times, the game loses its amusment. And yes there is a difference between a complete trial and error affair (this game) and a game that is less so trial and error and left more up to skill (splinter cell).

*cough-cough* Splinter Cell (especially PT) redefined the words trial and error.. although MGS still ties in at a close second.

I thought this game was weak as hell. I like stealth games but this game sucked! The violence can only keep your attention for so long before you realize its a very redundent game. Stay away.
Best stealth game since Metal Gear Solid.

i agree w/ trustcompany, i usually dont get engrossed in stealth games that much
...but i dont think that this game is overrated at all...and i dont think that just b/c its a R* game that it got high reviews...maybe it got a point higher than it should have, but it does deserve a good score, imo...
i dont think its fair to say its overrated since SO many ppl are bashing it left and right...
